Privacy Policy
What this website collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have.
What This Policy Covers
This policy explains what information EU Gold Mining Inc. (“EU Gold”, “we” or “the Company”) collects through this website, why we collect it, and what choices you have. It applies to www.eugoldmining.ca. It does not apply to any other website you reach from a link here.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Information Collected Automatically
As with most websites, the server that hosts this site records basic technical information each time a page is requested. That normally includes your IP address, the browser and operating system you use, the page requested, the page you came from, and the date and time. It is used to keep the site running and secure, and to understand in general terms how it is used.
Cookies and Analytics
This website sets no cookies of its own. It stores no preferences, session identifiers or other data on your device.
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site, for example which pages are read and how long people stay. Google Analytics sets its own cookies and reports to us in aggregate: pages viewed, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and general device and browser information. We do not use it to identify individual visitors, and we do not combine what it tells us with any other information about you. Google’s own handling of that data is governed by its privacy policy.
Two further services receive your IP address when your browser loads parts of this site, because the files come to you directly from them:
Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com) serves the typefaces used throughout the site.
unpkg.com and cdn.jsdelivr.net serve the mapping libraries and the world outline used by the interactive permit map.
These services set no cookies on our behalf and send us no information about you, but a request to any server necessarily discloses the IP address it is sent from.
Information You Give Us
Mailing list. If you subscribe, we collect the email address you give us and use it only to send news releases and updates about the Company. Every message includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can also ask us to remove you using the details below.
Enquiries. If you email or telephone us, we keep your contact details and the content of your message so that we can respond and manage the relationship that follows.
How Information Is Shared
We share personal information only with service providers who need it in order to perform a service for us, such as website hosting, analytics and email distribution, and only for that purpose. We may also disclose information where we are required to by law or by a securities regulator.
Some of those providers operate outside Canada, including in the United States. Information held in another country is subject to the laws of that country and may be accessible to its courts, regulators and law enforcement.
Keeping and Protecting Information
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected. For a mailing-list subscription, that means until you unsubscribe. We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold, but no transmission over the internet and no method of storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Your Choices and Your Rights
Cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and guidance for each major browser is available at www.allaboutcookies.org. You can also opt out of Google Analytics on every website you visit by installing Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Because this site sets no cookies of its own, blocking cookies will not affect how it works.
Your information. You may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us using the details below and we will respond within the time applicable law allows. In Canada, our handling of personal information is subject to the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act. If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you also have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, including the right to object to processing and to complain to your local supervisory authority.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date below shows when it was last changed, and any material change will be reflected here.
